Background

My career is built on a foundation of graphic arts and marketing communications experience. I started out in the days of drafting tables and Rapidiographs and gracefully moved into computer technology because most of what the computer could do, I had done myself; creating masks, specing type, photo-retouching, etc.

Education

I was introduced to graphics in a high school honors program and learned how to design, produce and print ads and promotional materials for the school and local businesses. Later, I majored in art at the University of California in Santa Barbara and heavily weighted my degree with studies in communication and creative writing.
